"Trac Off"

I have a 2000 ss and the "trac off" just recently came on and will not go off. does anyone have any suggestions?

well is the light just on or is the traction actually off...just try to squeel the tires and c if it stops u lol

i have a 03 impala (the 4 door monte LOL) and my trac light comes on all the time and it's because the abs senser on the wheel bearing F&^% all the time
you should check to see ifthe 2 little wires are still atached or broken or somthing

actually this happened to me last nite...we replaced my rotors and brake pads and when we bled the brakes we did not tighten the vent enough and brake fluid was leaking out, this casued my low brake fluid light to come on and my trac off light came on...so check the level of ur brake fluid

Also try disconnecting the battery for 20 min.

I had this problem a few years back, brought it to the cealer to get checked and it ended being a serious electrical system problem! Id get it checked, plus I couldnt imagine its safe having it off all the time.
