Question Wiring Issue....

I have a New Shifter coming in the mail that light's up with an LED and I wanted to know if I could find a diagram or instructions on how to removed the centre panel to get to the wiring, as well where could I hook into the day running lights so that it only turns on when I power up the car?

I'm not trying to throw a rock into the cogs, but if it were me I wouldn't tap into an existing circuit. I'd run a new circuit for it. If there's an unused fuse in the panel you could use it, or tap into an existing one. Run your wire fuse to switch, switch to LED and LED to ground. A pushbutton on/off switch could be mounted under the dash, in the console...pretty much wherever you wanted to put it. Using a fuse that doesn't see power unless the key is on would insure power to it was killed if you ever forget to turn it off.
