Meh, Im biased, but I hate walmart crap mainly because everyone and their mother has it around here. And you cant expect good subs for under $30, let alone speakers for $10.

 

OK here is my opinion ( because you asked for it )wall-mart is like basic/ entry level or replacement parts (cheep,discontinued or knock off equipment ) A store like best buy /car toys is like novice level equipment , and going to a privately owned shop you are getting/ paying for a professional ( higher prices newer equipment and the professional install / warranty )
It is wall-mart you get what you pay for !!!
You would not go to wall-mart to get your motor balanced and blue printed you go where they know there stuff (privately owned / professional ) shop you may go to wall-mart to buy oil cheep though for a oil change ...
Now after saying that I know not every one can afford to buy the best but wall-mart is a discount store and you know that when you shop there you can't expect to buy a Cadillac for a Pinto price you get what you pay for !! Just buy the best you can and enjoy the hell out of it !! No mater where you get it from !! If you like it and it sounds good to you that is all that maters...

If you want to save money, go on a caraudio forum and research and buy used items from the members.

 

dual 6x9's and 6.5 from wallyworld ran them in the scort for a 2 years now... now in the saty, i've got dual 6x9's in the monte and i remember seeing them at bestbuy befor wally world... IMHO if

not really...my fiance currently works at wal-mart and he got his sony headunit from there and one of his friends got the same exact one (same sku # and everything) from best buy but paid a lot more for it. my fiance has not had a problem with it and he has had it a lil over 2 years now.
