Default Wal Mart and Jeff Gordon

http://www.nascar.com/2010/news/busi...ons/index.html

Really? Maybe 20 years of DuPont and Jeff Gordon have clouded my vision, but I just can't see Wal Mart on Jeff Gordon's car... Pepsi or someone like that, oh yeah, but I just can't picture Wal Mart and Jeff Gordon...

BTW, if this move happens, do you think the fabrication shop will keep using DuPont paints to spray the car? You'd have to think they give them paint..... if I had my choice, I'd buy Martin-Senour, I think it covers and flows better than DuPont or PPG.

...Hi `Duane,
I believe it's all a Big Money Game, and whatever sponsor put's up the highest number, then I think the owner's would go for it....I bet `if BP or British petroleum put up more money then Walmart, they would get Jeff Gordon....& sponsorship...

Hi `Chris, I support
I like Walmart, it's like the only Mall type shopping when I get to go 2 the Mainland to get supplies : ) They have just about everything, and it's close to Mickey D's, and the Cementary on Florida's US 1 : )
(I know, I need to get/find a `Life : ) Oh, it's always busy....

Wal Mart just has a boring look... I can't see how they will make a nice looking racecar myself.

Yeah or else there would be cars sponsored by Shell.... errr.... umm... I mean by Mobil... ummmm well never mind!

Seriously I thought DuPont would have had a lifetime contract with Hendrick and Gordon. Wonder if the price tag has gotten to be too much for DuPont or if they figure that they've already gotten enough coverage that spending more $ isn't going to bring them anymore customers.
