store bought ported is bad. you might wanna go sealed if your going for a stock box. but if you can have any box get the biggest one you can that wont meets up with your subs specs. more box= more air to move= more bass

Looks good.

If it's an actuall audio shop, don't automatically turn away from their ported boxes. Just ask what the internal volume and tuning frequency are. If they're close to what's recomended for your subs, then go for it.

If you're looking to stay cheap, I'd personally go with either of the last two Hifonics amps you posted or the Cadence I linked to. Those seem like the best bang for the buck amps that do the power you need.

However, if you can do the $250 easily, I'd throw in another $25 and get this:

That's the amp I'd personally be buying if I was in the market.

Handsdown get that sundown SAZ-1000D amp. Once you get a sundown amp u wont ever mess with any other amp. The warrantys on them are very good, They are severely under rated, 90 signal to noise ratio which means there very very clean sounding. There just all around good amps spend the extra 25 its worth every penny. Or go on an audio forum and go to the classified and post that your looking for a sundown saz100d. thats what i did and i got my sundown sae1200d for 150bucks
