Default Key cylinder install

From all the videos I have seen, people are removing the front dash panel in order to get to the key lock cylinder. Is it easier just to move the radio out of the way in order to gain access to the key lock tab to remove the cylinder?

Popping off the dash panel is pretty easy, I'm not sure if you can get to the 2 bolts by pulling the radio out. If you find it easier that way maybe you can take some pictures for the group. Good luck.

I assume this is a 2000 or newer Monte? If so, to do anything with the radio, you have to pull the dash piece anyways. And I'm trying to remember, I think you have to pull the cluster out too. None of it is a big deal, the key is take your time.
