hey all I am wanting to replace my Dome light with an LED but the first problem I run into is how the hell do I get the cover off to even get to the housing it self please help and thank you

 

I used a small screw driver that i wraped the end with some tape so i didnt scratch things up.

but if you look straight up on it you will see a small area that you can get something in there to pry the lens out. and belive me it is not fun you think your goign to snap it in half. but it will flex slightly so tha tyou can get it out of there. then it will just snap in agian.

same wiht the map lights.

the ones under the dash in the 6th GEns are a 194 same as the map lights.

 

so basiclly is just gettin like a flat head inbetween the lens and the actual housing the whole it self dosent come apart ? just the lens should snap out and give me access to the bulbs correct ?
