Thats why you never read the peak RMS because they mean nothing. I dont even look at peak when I buy stuff. Heck I dont even know what the peak is on anything in my car but I can for sure tell you the RMS ratings.

Well depends on what you're looking at... These mainstream companies, stick the the RMS ratings as stated above. But there are numerous "underground" companies that have products run up and past they're rated "PEAK" specs... Matter fact most of them dont even post peak specs but one example would be Audioque, the HDC3's run well past the "peak" ratings..

^^ YA.. My RE Audio MT 15" doesn't have any RMS or any other ratings. Mostly because its made purely for SPL allowing you to though thousands of RMS to it. Im going to be putting 4000 when my system is all done...

you will notice it will run a little clearer with the 650 rms that is what i have in my silverado it will sound clearer and a little more deeper
