Default 2004 SS - Radio Volume Decreases While Braking

Hey all, this is probably going to be a tough thing to answer but, when I hit the brakes the volume on my stereo decreases. I know it sounds like it might all be in my head, but it isn't. I have a stock radio with the CD player. Could it be a loose wire or connection somewhere? I hope it's not my stereo dying.

It's a feature GM made. It's not that the volume decreases as you brake, it increases as you accelerate (to compensate for road noise) and then it does decrease back to your desired volume when braking.
Personally, I hate that feature, drives me a little nuts. I forget where in the radio options it it, but you can turn it off.
