Default RE: Ready to Install CAI

I found a local shop that installed it for $50. First, I felt an immediate difference with the acceleration. The CAI plus the U bend improved the performance greatly. I let my car sit for most of the evening before I drove anywhere again, and oh boy. Right away I noticed the sound of air flowing thru there when I started it up. And my lead foot never got enough of getting on it to hear the improved engine sound! I wanted some other mods but I will get some simple stuff (rolled tips, door sill, chevy plate frames) and concentrate on the maintenance. I'm saving ever last record and at least I can keep it running well and maintain the detailing of it. I always get compliments on how clean it is. Plus I need to start saving for my new Chevy.
