Default How can I get my SS to sound like this??

So, below is a clip of my old car, a 2001 Grand Prix GT, on which I cut the mufflers off of. I read earlier that a muffler delete is a bad idea in the long run but I absolutely loved the sound that my GP had. How can I match that sound with what I have now....without cutting off the mufflers.

Hi `Brotan,
If your want your Monte to sound like your GP, then do the same thing to your Monte that you did to your GP Maybe ?

You can try a muffler delete or res delete. leprechaun93 did a res and muffler delete and replaced the res with a glass pack. Says the drone is loud but he has an awesome sound on his monte. I'm going with a resonator delete.

I thought about getting glass packs, I think I might just go with the muffler delete, read in another thread that it shows a noticeable drop in power. Hopefully I don't get that. From what I remember my GP seemed a bit more torque-y after the delete.....man I miss that car...never shoulda let it go

No mufflers, resonator replaced with a glasspack. Loud, but I wouldn't have it any other way, except when im on the highway, drone is a bit obnoxious.

I have a manga flow high flow down pipe cat with res delete and flow master super 44s verily loud raddles the walls when I turn on in garage. If I could go back I'd put 10s on to make it even louder. But over all I love it! I could get a video if someone would like too hear it.but if you want a growly sound go with a res delete that gives it the deep throaty I think. But yea let me know!
