Default want a little more sound from exhaust

i have an 04 monte supercharged ss and the resonator has been removed and it has been straight piped. I would like to get just a little bit louder muscle car sort of tone without breaking my wallet or the law any suggestions.

It's going to be hard to get the "muscle car tone" you're looking for with the V6. Idle and low rpm's can sound good. I'm sure a certain "good" sound can be achieved overall. I was always hesitant to do anything to the exhaust on my '03 SS because I didn't want it sounding like a lawnmower.

get a shorter or no resonator for starters.. the 3800 along with just about every other v6 won't really give you a muscle sound

I think 3' inch exhaust will make it a little more deeper and eliminate some of the rasp...

as long as you're supercharged 3" should be okay, I wouldn't do it if you're not because of a loss of back pressure = loss of torque and power
