Two lift-out plastic catches and the whole headlight assembly just falls right out of the front.

If you are having an issue aiming the headlights ... you can try doing what I did. I Duct-taped a fat fender washer to the front of the headlight mount and it moved-over the beam a few degrees. It's an odd way to adjust the beam ... I know ... but, there isn't a real Left ~ Right adjustment feature. Just an Up ~ Down adjustment. With the washer keeping that whole assembly moved out a bit ... the Beam is more to the Left and that's what I needed.

so is that what the little screw is for by the headlamps? to move the lowbeam bulb up and down. I just installed new housings and one bulb is aimed really high and the other is really low. so annoying, but cant seem to move the bulbs. if thats what the screw is there for, then im gonna feel really stupid.

Yes, it is for adjusting the angle of the headlight.
