Default headlight ram air

Does taking the headlight out and getting the ram air effect help the performance of the car?
I havent done it but before I try it I want to know if anybody else has done it and the reslults you got from it.

seems like i've heard of 94-96 impala/ caprice's gaining from that... as in 1 or 2 mph in the 1/4, i'd imagine it would work on our cars too. problem is that its useless unless youre on a track

People take the headlight out in our cars when they are at the drag strip, and it tends to help

Yes, taking the headlight out will definately help but only on the drag strip.

Unfortunately this is the only decent way to get ram air in our vehicles. All the other styles out there are just hype.

Agreed - I took my car to the track last season, and posted my best time. You can hear the car sucking in more air too. Again - the only legal application for this would be at the track though.

You could see a possible .1 to .2 difference.

yeah taking the headlight out is easy
I just put some HID's in and saw the hole leading into the airbox and it gave me the idea to take it out and have ram air (at the track).
