Question Electric Cut-out

So I've decided I'm not really going to do much else to my Monte for now since money is getting tight.

I want to install an Electric Cut-out on my 06 Monte and was wondering if anyone had suggestions where to connect the electrics?

Might as well ask any suggestions on Cut-outs to purchase?

most people go with DMH they have a 3 or 4 year warranty IIRC. I would like to get one too sometime here soon.

Thanks for the info, I'm assuming I want to get it with the Flowtech Race ready? Not entirely sure what it is but from what I've read it the part that leads away from the exhaust or the dump out?

I suggest qtp or race ready. My old cutout was a 2.5" race ready and was great I sold it when I upgraded to 3" and got a qtp and it's holding up great as well.

My buddy got a dmh and had issues with it. He sent it back for warrenty repair and it took 7 months to get it back. He called and emailed like crazy and never got responses etc. I wouldn't get a dmh if I were you.

Also I believe the flow tech is the "Y" section of exhaust pipe that has the flange on it to bolt cutout to. Unless you can cut a hole in your exhaust and weld a piece of pipe over the hole and then weld a flange to it to bolt on the cutout you will need this. Even this flow tech will need welded into exhaust though.

Thanks I read a bunch of reviews that DMH may have a 4 Year Warranty but their customer service is terrible.

Is there any type of warranty on the QTP? But I have a buddy that can weld so that helps me a lot!

Thanks for the info guys

Like John I run the QTP cut out with the electric led numbers open / close switch. Have had this for over 5 years and no problems. Very well constructed, quite durable.
