Your Monte is really nice. I love the red trim especially on the black.

It looks like I spent way too much for my Monte.

I paid almost $10k for my '04 SS with 60k miles two years ago and now, it's worth $5,000. Dealer saw me coming.

But like most others here, I wouldn't sell it for the world. Like a pet, or a child, I give it love and take care of it and it loves and takes care of me back.

I think I payed a bit to much for my Monte. I gave $13,500 for my 06' last year. KBB value is like $9500. The clear book value says I should list it between $10,000 and $11,500. So I like that better lol. I'm actually trying to sell mine so I can get into something RWD with a stick that is also cheaper. If anyone knows someone who wants an 06' Monte Carlo SS send them my way lol. I still owe $11,500 on the car so I can't really go any lower then that right now.

sadly not as much as I would hope. Last time I looked mine was on kbb for around 15k i think but as of right now it would take more than that for me to part ways with it.

Looks like you didn't have it for that long. Didn't like it? IMO, even though it's not RWD, it's one of the most fun, reliable, sporty driver out there.

I'd take it, but my wife specifically said I already had one MC, she doesn't want another one. lol

Didn't officially look...but let's see

MPD Hood, Razzi Kit, Rims, Full System, Upgraded Transmission, ZZP turbo kit, borla exhaust and host of other things, I'd probably get $500 lol....It doesn't matter though, it's priceless to me and won't be going anywhere....

I really enjoy the car. The main thing is I need something more fuel efficient without giving up the V8. So I've been looking at some mustangs. I had a thunderbird with the same V8 and I got really good gas mileage. That and I really want a stick. I think I just get to bored of driving an automatic.

Your Monte Carlo is worth what you believe it is worth
You really can't put a price on 'Love
Plus, there's no more New Monte's
It's a rare/unique automobile..
If you are lucky to have one (?)
You are fortunate to get to drive one!
Why sell `Love ? > Drive 'it
Enjoy

I didn't actually check, but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say mine is worth about $5,000 private party. It's in mint condition body, paint and interior. But it's got almost 200K on it, so the mileage makes the value plummet. This is why I have no intention to sell it or care to sell it. Even if I buy a new car, I'll keep the Monte to just drive it into the ground.
