seriously man its like you hit the gas and theres like a 20 minute hesitation before the overdrive kicks in, anyways i noticed that with the short ram i used to have throttle response was a lot better, with my cold air it dosent pick up as well but i feel it in the high RPM's. anyways wish me luck ill be going to the track this sat. and im hoping low 14's possibly. ive got straight pipe dual exhaust, u bend delete, cold air intake, 8.5mm magnecor spark plug wires (which i highly recommend to all montes) and i removed the throttle body screen, so hopefully this will all be worth it, plus i found a place by me thatll dyno my car for 50 bucks, im hoping at least to see around 211-220 horses in my monte, i know i can already beat the ss so that satisfies me, im just curious. ill keep you guys posted.

Wow, I am suprized that there are no Dyno shops in or around the Albany area.... I would check out performance shops or engine builders in the area.

I gutted my factory air box, I am happy with the additional performance & sound from it.

Indeed. I too experience a lag to passing gear.

I have noticed, however, that it is reduced and the car drives/shifts smoother if you deactivate the Trac Control while driving. I have just recently removed my TB screen and installed a K&N filter and must say that my '05 LT is noticably more responsive now than before. Even my wife commented on it when I took her for a test drive the night I did the mods.

Love the vacuum sound at start up and when you thump the throttle!!
