Default trunk key hole

i just relized this a few days ago when my dad was looking at my car and we couldnt figure out why my car didnt have a key hole in the trunk i havent seen another monte without one. i think its a good thing and it makes my rear look better since i have everything taken off of it i was just wondering how common it is to not have one

is it factory that way or did a previous owner do it for you?
I have one on mine i wish i could remove it and the one on the door. would like to get rid of the locks on the car so they wernt there at all.

thought i had a way to make them look like they wernt there but that was part of the Sings by drex AKA gotdrex.com thing. He has managed to screw me over for about a grand now,

Just wish i lived closer to him so i could go get it from him LOL

being that you have an 05, that's gotta be one of the changes for that model year.

Yeah the no key hole sounds like a nice touch. I have an 02 ls which I took all the badges and emblems off. Really cleans it up. Nice to have lil things liek that to make it different than anyone elses. Some cars today just have too much crap on the panels. Sometimes less is more. Maybe ill get some pics and post them for you to see.

but see to a point the whole less is more thing is what thier attempt was by puttin the badges on it in Body color.Im still running with one on the driver side and nothing on the pax side. After they did the body work i asked them to not put it on in hopes i was goign to paint the emblems to match flames. So since i dont have the flames for it i have gotten around to putting it on the car or taking the other one off. Still havent decided weather to pull them off or put them on it.
