Default trunk key hole????

New to Montes. Picked up an 03. Pretty sure its the base package. Was it normal for these to come without trunkor passenger door key holes? No badges either.

hi

yes they didnt have the keyhole for the passenger side door or the trunk ... yoou need to use the remote or the button to open the trunk located on the left side of the steering wheel, near the release for the hood .... If you press your remote twice it will open up the passenger side door also ...

Not calling anyone a liar, but my 04 has a trunk lock. No passenger door lock though.

Our '03 Pace car has a trunk lock. No pass door lock.

And my '06 LTZ has neither.

Is it possible that from 2000 up the trunk lock was standard on the SS, and optional on the others? As for the badges missing, your car came with badges originally. Someone took them off.

I typed the wrong year. It's an 05 LT. Has the emblem on the front of the hood and nothing else. Previous owner must not have liked them.

De-badging is a very common mod. GM loves to put stickers and badges everywhere. According to GM, a sticker counts as a $1000 upgrade.

I was gonna say! 2000 - '04 all had trunk keyholes. '05 and up had none. Mine is a 2005 LT as well. Also no passenger keyhole.

My dad's 05 Buick doesn't have passenger door locks either. Never noticed his trunk lid though.
