hello everyone!

I need some assistance with wiring my aftermarket security system trunk release to the stock trunk release solenoid.

I have tried using a relay but the relay doesnt trigger with the output wire from the security systems brain. I know it isnt the relay, I've tried three of them. I even bypassed the cars stock remote module and i was still unsuccessful. Is there some type of special wiring that needs to be done to get the signal wire to trigger a relay and rlea

I have a 1996 Monte Carlo LS 3100
the security system is an excalibur two way.
model is AL 1500-E
