That's exactly what happened, foreign object damage, parts will be in the mail tonight, and a lot of work will be getting done.

Anyways, back on topic, is downshifting these cars really that bad for the transmissions?

Its not a good thing to do. Sudden pressure changes and the jarring of hard parts isnt good on any part of the drive train.

That being said.. I used to do it all the time and never had a problem as far as I know. Let me also say, its hard to admit that.

That makes sense lol, would ZZPs shift kit cause more or less damage when downshifting or naw? I just really enjoy the growls and burbles when coasting down in first gear... lol.
