one big thing is the seat belt doesnt retract that great ... after disengaging the belt, it just kinda hangs, where u need to manually help it back into its retracted state ....

i don't know how this hasn't come up, i'm always having to pull over to get my phone out from under the seat because it fell in to the void between the counsel and the seat

the gas pump thing happens to me to, it sucks when your filling your tank and its 5 degrees out and you have to go slow lol
those are the only things that i can think of that annoy me

wow some of you guys are very nit-picky

i have no problems at all with my seat belt being uncomfortable, i forget i have it on sometimes
mine seat belts do not flap in the wind
i think the radio is kick ***, sounds great
i find the cup holders to be just fine
i have no problems with the blind spot either
my fog lights are just fine, bright enough for me, alot of the time i drive with just those instead of low beams
my car came with the roof mount on star antenna
my car was re-painted by the previous owner so it doesnt have crappy factory paint
dont really care if there is a light in my glove box or not
my car didnt come with goodyear RSA's, dealer replaced them
never noticed that there is no ash tray, but i dont care anyway
i never noticed the lack of a trunk lid liner...dont go in my trunk much
seriously guys, complaining about the gas door???

 

there actually is an ashtray in the back of the console for the backseat... adn why are you smoking in your monte anyway? [:@]

to me my biggest complaint is hte sheer lack of power... V8 and RWD will be my next car....

I have to agree with the blind spots, not enough cup holders/too small, and no V-8 RWD. I noticed alot of people saying their dash is coming loose near the center - mine too. And, the seat belt retractor does get stuck sometimes. The DRL's don't bother me - I can't see them when I'm driving. I think if we did a thread about what we love about the car it would be MUCH longer than this one.

One thing I can think of that annoys me about any of the Montes we own. None came to us with less miles on them then they had when we got them.

Okay part could be my fault on this one? For not searching harder to find a better car is something I can think of.

Really, the '81 Landau Coupe was a great deal for $500 with all the new parts it had on it at the time.

The '03 Pace car was just too cool to pass up. With 65,XXX miles on the clock it really wasn't that bad a mileage and the price was great.

The '06 LTZ, well I definately wish it had fewer miles on it when I got it. But again price was a huge factor here. And it's got a lot of toys on it.

So I guess the only one I really wish I had got with fewer miles is my '86 LS.

some of the things that annoy me are the chintzy console ( every lid is broken and the finish is peeling like a bad sunburn), and my radio lights quit working, i have to ajust the station by feel in the dark. other than that i really cant complain, it has held up very well concerding its 152000 miles, and i usually boast about it in refrance to other cars i have been in, driving or riding, like an '00 isusu trooper, and an'01 dodge stratus, for midsize to big vehicles they are slow and highly uncomfetible, cramped and nothing is in the right place, same goes for a pt cruser, andthe chevy hhr(?) thingy, cramped and uncomfertable. montes rule for intrior space compared to almost any competitor.

 

just to clear it up, i dont smoke, and i wouldnt smoke in the car if i did

i guess i just dont pay much attention when im in my car, cuz the seatbelt thing still doesnt bother me lol

 

my only complant about my 07 is its 3.5 vs lt it gets great gas miledge and keeps up with some ricers but cant somkem because of the govener kiks in at 85 on the high way the motor wants to run and the car has alot of potential but anouther down fall is there is not alot of stuff for the 3.5l v6 outher than for the looks of the car the cal hood different rims exaughst may be nothing else thats the only problem i think ill stick with the comaro ang the mustang as daily drivers so when i want to go on the high and pass a driver thats all over i dont have to worry about the guvener kicking in and kissing a fender of a drunk hate guveners set way to low to my likeing for the 3.5l monte love it to be set at a little higher to just pass a bad thing you know get away from an iratic driver thats jumping all over all the lanes
