No matter what car you get, there are gonna be things you wish were different/better. And while none of the things I mentioned make me wanna get rid of it, I still wish they were improved upon.

the seat belt positioning bothers me too, and i have gotten two tickets for not wearing it in the past few years.
hasn't been a problem in other cars. my brothers all drive jeep grand cherokees which have a similar seatbelt setup, but on the cherokee the belt is threaded through the door with a latch that slides up and down for shoulder belt adjustment. would be nice to even move the shoulder guide on this one.

The DRLs are #1 on my list. Havent gotten around to taking care of that yet. Hoping for the DRL delete harness for Christmas.
Orange peel paint job from the factory sucks, especially on a $33,000 car.
No trunk lid liner. (another Christmas present?)

Most everything else Ive taken care of by replacing it with something aftermarket or one off.

Fair gas milage for the performance and the weight of the car
LOVE theheated leather seats
and NO blind spots because I keep my mirrors adjusted wide to eliminate them.

At first i wasn't a fan of the seats, but long distance runs they do very well.

I guess i'm the only one that dosnt mind the RS-A's. A little noisy, but grip is decent.

I dont mind the drl's

The power connections cheesy plastic cover.

Overall i do enjoy driving the car, decent mix of power and econmy. Combfortable with ( after mods) decent road holding ability.

 

2006 SS:

FWD
Flapping noise from seatbelts when windows are down.
No light in the glove-box.
Difficulty putting gas into the car. You have to manually hold the pump, because if you let go it keeps clicking off. This is a problem at every gas station I've been to.

 

The shoulder strap part of the seatbelt [sm=headbang.gif] I hate wearing it.

That damn "Blind Spot" is severe!
The Console Cover is flimsy.
The Glove Compartment is ridiculously small.
The Passenger Door stays locked without an option to let it unlock with the Fob.
The Firewall don't have anywhere convenient to run a needle through it!
The Fuel Filter is a bitch to replace.
The Speed Limiter is obscene!
The price of a Turn Signal-High Beam Stalk Switch is Highway Robbery!
The Gas Cap isn't the easiest thing to un-loose when you need gas ... huh?

2006 Monte Carlo LT w/ 3.5 liter V6

1-side skirts are a "plastic" black instead of silver like the rest of the car
2-seat belts flap when windows are down
3-No fog lights
4-Trunk was leaking water ( fixed at dealer)
5-Air filterbox always gives me a hard time when i check the K&N
6-My doors SLAM, i have to tell people to close them gently, i have lubricated which helped a little, very little

Thats about it, but i do love my car though. Cant wait for my 18inch SS wheels to be here,,, ooooo i cant wait.
