Things that bother you about your Monte...
okay, you're FOB you should be able to push the unlock button twice and unlock your passenger door.
-it's a V6
-it's a FWD
-it's an automatic
-driving lights
-now that i'm driving on the highway alot, the blind spots

steelmalu43,
How much are you paying for those SS rims? I got the polished 18inch rims on my 06 SS, but I tried to order the chrome SS rims that come on the Impala SS and they are $2000

Flapping noise from seatbelts when windows are down. I about **** myself the first time I put them down after buying the car. I have found a seat position that 99% corrects it.
Air filter box is harder to get into than previous generations.
Blind spot is hard to see.
Can't adjust temp and keep driver and passenger control in sync without taking eyes off the road. I probably could with fingernails but I dont want to scratch the rubber and so I fat finger them. It really doesnt matter, I'm just OCD about them matching when I'm driving alone.
Whats with the extra click on the fan type dial? IE theres a notch between head and head/feet, one between head/feet and feet, etc, and it seems the fan doesnt change til you turn it 2 notches.
Dotted tint instead of actual tint on top of front windshield doesnt allow me to mount radar where I'd like it best.
No problems letting the gas pump run here. Must have been fixed for 07?

I agree with the gas pumps with my 2006 LTZ. Most of the time can get away with using the first click on the handle, but any more than that it shuts off after a couple of seconds. Not a big deal, have learned to live with it...just takes a little extra time.
I don't have any issues with the seatbelts being uncomfortable, but just the other day my wife made the comment that she did not care for them.
There are only a couple of other things I wish were a little different...1. locations of power outlets. I use the one on the backside of the console to plug in my Sirrius receiver. It is vulnerable to being knocked loose by the kids when they get in/out. The power outlet in the front is covered by the receiver itself. (I do however love the MP3 jack on the stereo...great for the sattalite!) 2. The cupholders do not fully secure a cup. I find myself hanging onto my coffee cup in the morning going around the ramp onto the interstate. I found this out the hard way just after I got the car. Luckily the lid reduced the mess, and the leather made for an easy clean-up.

the gas tank thing happens to mine. the gas is hittings ome pocket of air in the tank and messing it up. just let it sit for about 15 seconds without gas and then it goes to full throttle, atleast on a 03
Blind spot

Other than that, I love it. Hubby doesn't care for my leather seats, he wears shorts a lotand gets burned, I wear jeans 99% of the time so I don't really notice how hot they get in the Texas heat.

Like alot of you, we love the car because of the looks. My 2006 has all the features I have ever wanted in a car. I have a longer list of things I LOVE about her: gorgeous blue, big trunk, fold down rear seats, awesome sound w/Ipod jack, etc. etc.
My dislikes: a rattle in the steering column (somewhere in there) and a tap sound from the passenger seat area (I think the headrest or the bottom track) when I drive the crappy roads here in Modesto, CA. Oh yea, I'd have loved an inside release for thegas filler door and some way to turn off the friggin' CHECK TIRE PRESSURE light[sm=boohoo.gif]!

Only complaints are the plastic dash and center consle pieces chevy uses. Gas milage is great compared to what I used to get. Plenty of power and very comfortable to drive.
having to replace my ISS twice in 30 000 miles bothers me, the spoiler chiping the paint on the trunk bothers me, the headliner making all kinds of noises bothers me. Other than that the car is great never left me stranded, yet. The interior is compiled from GM's part bin.
Power is great, exhaust note is great. driving it is great, has some modern features that are nice. very unique look on the outside. great history and tradition. I enjoy driving it.
The MC will always be with me even if i were to no longer own one for some odd reason, cuz my first three cars that I bought for my self were MC's.
How about that commercial Honda is running on the pilot with it switching from 6 to 3 cyl like it is something new. GM has been doing this for a while now.
