Things that bother you about your Monte...
Like Rick said, I too don't like how there is nothing to hold change. Other than using one of the cupholders.
A major disappointment is the fact that there is no way to connect an MP3 player to the factory stereo on the 2004. I don't feel like spending time and money on another stereo just so I can use my Ipod. And yes I did try the thing that broadcasts your Ipod/MP3 player over an unused FM frequency. Sound quality sucks. Constant hiss, even on the best of frequencies.

I have a spot for change on mine. In the center console if you lift the lid there is a spot you can push your change down into these special slots. I agree on the FM transmitters although I finially found one I like that sounds just like CD quality beleive it or not. It was expensive and it also charges the Ipod. I think it was like $80.
I think the coin holder was an option, so all may not have them. They are available (see below), but you'll have to spend $25 worth of your coins for one.
I've only had my Monte since the end of last April, so I don't have a long list of dislikes. So far the only things that I find bothersome is the top of the rear bumper is a dirt magnet and it's a pain to access your cup of coffee in the front cup holder when the vehicle is in park.

i have a few of my own.
1972
1. incomplete side trim
2. little leg room for backseats
3. okay, ash trays, but no cup holders?
4. previous owner hit something, pushing the hood up, bending the bumperguard
5. no bulb seal on doors
6. annoying tint. can't even scrape it off with the sharpest razor
7. tail pipe sits lower than the other
8. radiator covered in JB Weld
9. lots of squeaking, the centercaps jingle when you drive it
all i can think of.

I only have a few.
- The foam type material on the steering wheel...I'm guessing the previous owner had nails and it got picked away
- The kick panels and the very bottom piece on the drivers side (by the OBD II port) rattle, the clips don't hold them tight. I had to put a couple small screws in to hold them (they're hidden though).
- The front cup holder is basically useless unless the car is in gear, and the cup holder by the center console is almost too large to hold anything. One quick-ish turn and my water bottle flies into the passenger door. So now I just hold everything while I turn
- I would like the shifter to be more like the 7th gen style... I don't care for it up so high.

I kept the change holder out of my old minivan and had it in the monte for about 3 months before I realized it had a spot for it. I hate that I have a few dents and dings and that the paint in son perfect from the previous owner. Also that the drivers door and fender need to be realigned and the edge of the door repainted. Maybe next year's taxes will help with some if this.
I just have a few myself;
1) Cup holder in front = useless
2) Doors really slam on a slight incline
3) No MP3 hook up on my 2002 = did buy a $50.00 radio transmitter with many channel set-up options and the reception is fantastic, no hiss and CD quality sound = for Taz = Bought it at Canadian Tire (it's the black model on the long arm) well worth it...
4) Changing the rear Spark Plugs - Ouch...
5) Blind spots (worries me when the wife takes her out)...
6) Position and look of On-Star antenna... yuk...
7) No factory scoops option...
8) And of coarse the unmentionable - No rear wheel drive...
Other than that, I LOVE it!!!!...

2006
The fact that the seat belt flaps with the windows down...
Speed Limiter at 107MPH
4T65-E transmission (150K and counting, but I really dislike all the issues this tranny has).
Thats all I can think of...I really love my Monte.
