Sticking up for the Monte Carlo's
Louis Chevrolet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chevrolet was sold to Durant which bought a controlling stake in GM in 1916, and then apparently was folded into GM a year later.
If I got a BMW to drive I would take it. Why not keep the monte all nice for the weekends and daily drive the crap out of a nice sporty bmw. *That doesn't drop its transmission when you do that.*

In my case, I'm comparing insurance rates on a 2011 vehicle ... to the rates I enjoy for driving/owning/insuring SIX OLDER cars, all of which are 1987 and OLDER. Buying that "relatively new car" would nearly DOUBLE my insurance rates. So, I'd be DOUBLING my insurance rates going from 6 to 7 vehicles. Could I afford it? Yes. Can I justify it? No.
*shrugs*
Warned ya'll my "big heart" is no more. When will you start believing me?
