My first step to avoid tickets is know your roads, always analyze where they sit etc.. If your out of town then this doesn't help you. But if your on a road where you know there not at then speed if you wish, if your on a road where they sit than be careful and slow down at the normal hiding spots.

On the highways go as fast as the traffic and maybe a bit faster than those in the fast lane, but look for the common hiding spots, crossings, underpasses big trees/bushes etc..

Something Ive always went by is to never let the cop see your brake lights because then you have admitted to the crime. Ive known many who have gone 40+ over and didn't get a ticket because they simply didn't slow down, usually works on bikes more, most of time cops wont go after a speeding bike.
