Well, I got my first speeding ticket this weekend, got nailed at 90mph on I-90 in South Dakota on my way down to see my girlfriend. Went from MSU here in Bozeman, Montana back home in Wyoming, a 6 hour drive. Spent the night and then made the 7 hour trip down to USD where my girl is going to school, it was about 3.5 hours into the trip that I got picked up. The great thing is, in order to motivate myself to stay around 75 (the speed limit) I decided that if I made the 12.5 hour trip straight from USD to MSU without speeding that I would get some vinyl for my car. I would rather spend $109 on my car than give it to the state of South Dakota.

Hopefully I can get a copy of photoshop elements soon so I can decide if I want reflective black rally stripes or do the design that I wanna sketch up, I just need to find somewhere with a few yards of reflective black vinyl and some spare time between architecture projects to get it done.

I think he got a written warning and the ticket would have been $109.

 

$109 is cheap as hell...wish they were that cheap in wisconsin

 

well the title of the forum is "Speeding Ticket", so i assume its a ticket... i just wonder why he all of a sudden wants vinyl stripes after getting a ticket

ive got pulled over in both wisconsin and SD, lucky for me I live in both. lets say ive gotten a written warning for going 6 over in SD... their ****** here.

 

Yeah, I got a ticket for $109. I'm rewarding myself for not speeding on the way back by putting money into my car. I've always sped pretty badly everywhere I've gone and I needed motivation after getting that ticket to not speed, so I decided that if I managed to make it without speeding the rest of they way I'd buy something for my car.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, or maybe something a bit different, Ive got some really rough ideas here...
