If there are no holes I would love to take them off. Don't have the money to repaint the sides of the car and fill in holes just because I wanted to take the molding off.....

I would still have to repaint, surely the black lines will be there from it being covered so long and not exposed to the elements. Anyone on here do this to theirs? Was there a big color difference?
Don't believe there are "holes" as in all the way through the sheet metal but I know I have seen mentioned on here before that there is at least a dimple that is used to line up the correct placement.
As far as color difference I wouldn't think it would be that bad. I and many others have shaved emblems and other then the years of dirt and wax I couldn't see any difference, granted my car is silver not black but that's what I saw.
