Default reoccuring P420 O2 sensor codes

Since replacing the stock cat with a Maganaflow cat (good riddens U pipe!), I'm having a problem with CEL on the O2 sensors. One was bad on the bench test but both are new now. Is there any way to stop the ECM from thinking something is still wrong? My guess is that the increase air flow is wigging it out. I've heard about moving the sensor back from the cat with a anti-foul spark pulg fitting but havent been able to find the right diameter. Also heard about uploads???

Any input would be appreciated. Happy Memorial day MC fans!

You'll need to get your BCM re-programmed to emit that code.

It's not the BCM, it's the PCM that needs the code deleted. BCM is Body Control Module, the PCM is the Performance Control Module (the PCM controls these codes).

Anyone that can "tune" the vehicle can delete the code.... But in my opinion, the cost is high JUST to delete that code ($100+) unless you know someone that has a tuner and does not need to purchase credits to use it on your car.

Look up information about using a spark plug non-fouler/anti-fouler. The concept is super simple. Since the rear O2 is measuring the "health" of your cat, modifying one or two non-foulers allows you to pull the O2 sensor from the exhaust stream. I was originally considering that when I added a high-flow cat (I was lucky to never get that code and now I modded my Monte, I had that code deleted once I got the PCM tuned).

Just something to explore.

Whoops. My mistake. Wasn't thinking when I typed it I guess. Thanks for the correction.
