Its so funny cause I bought the monte to be my DD. But now I just cant bring myself to daily drive such a pretty car in the winter. Im pretty stoked to pick one up this summer hopefully.

they should be cheap now that winter is over. don't let the high miles scare you if the jeep is check out good. 150k miles that's pretty like the middle life of the jeep. my '98 only got 119k miles that's a baby miles

Yeah, iv heard even 150k plus is still good. Im suprised at the durability of these things. Im hoping to get one of the manual ones if im lucky.

Iv read alot about bad oil pan gaskets though? I found a manual i think it was 94 but it had a bad oil leak.

4 bangers ax-4 four speed? or ax-5 five speed? i read the earlier one are crap. ax-15 is the one to get.

all xj oil pan leaks. probably main seal leak from there. mine leaks but it never where i have to add oil continuely.

I think it was a 5 speed. Didnt they make them with the 4.0 too?

yes up til 2001 i think cuz that's the last year of the xj.
yeah that's a nice one in the ad. sagging headliner but that's easy fix. i like the color too. i get the '99 cuz it's unmolested
