very cool, how many car trophies have you won? are they all for your montes??

 

I only have 2 plaques from Chevy Vettefest - the rest are my fiances. As for trophies - I have no idea how many I have won - I am running out of room and they are now collecting at my Dad's house.

DAMN! Awesome collection AwesomeSS! I'd hate to have to dust off all those!! :P But in all seriousness, they look great! I have had "illnesses" with collecting things for a long time. I have a MASSIVE extension of pro wrestling action figures, most of which are still MOC (mint on card) and have recently started a collection of Japanese pro wrestling figures. We are taking thousands of figures. I also have a massive collection of McFarlane Sportspick figures (ie. baseball, football, hockey and basketball). I only collected those in college, I have around 500 which i tried to sell through a consignment store on eBay... didn't work out well for me. I have just started collecting diecast cars. Right now i've only accumulated the cars I have either owned or want to own. I have two red Montes (I have or currently own), a Mustang in Grabber Orange (which I also own), and a 06 Challenger and 06 Camaro concept diecast (which I wanted to own ) I look to be picking up a few more diecasts here and there. ESPECIALLY a fourth gen Monte!! BTW, I did like your collection of #8 Montes! Looked very nice all lined up! I'm not a NASCAR fan by any means, but I do like the setup.

I have that exact same diecast. My GF bought it for me after I bought my Dale Jr. car.

Here's a couple shots of mine that shows the windshield banner and rear licence plate. And a gratuitous side shot for kicks. :p

It's hard to tell because of the reflection of the flash, but the licence plate is an extremely detailed picture of my actual licence plate.

 

TAZ, where did you get your "MONTE CARLO" windshield banner...and your "custom" rear license plate?? Looks AWESOME!


and you are right... its SO hard to take a photo of the diecast because of the flast and the reflection from it.

 

where can i find a die cast of this car or a model. I would like to get this for someone
