Cool find.

I've been looking for a Pace car Monte Carlo for a couple years. I mean that looks like the production cars. Not the actual Pace cars. Those I've found.

I got one of those Junior edition die casts also. Only thing I don't like is that it has better seats than the real thing. The die cast has the two tone seats like the pace cars and Jeff Gordon edition.

I added "Monte Carlo" lettering to the windshield to make it more like my real car. Also stuck a shrunk down picture of my licence plate on the back. Too far? LOL.

I bought a Sun Star '03 that looks like my car, except the model has polished wheels, two tone interior and 06-07 spoiler with red lights in the back, lack of tinted windows, shaved emblems and... OK so I guess now that I think about it, it's not really a whole lot like my car after all. One of these days I'll have to take pictures of the two of them together so people that are interested can see where they got it right and where they missed the mark. It actually IS a pretty good re-creation!

So why not?????????????????

That 1:24 2004 SS Monte in Superior Blue that I got off ebay Christmas of 2008. We used a label maker and made a windhsield banner as well as "Official Pace Car" decals for the rockers. So it would look more like the '03 Pace car.

I can post a photo or two for anyone who wants to see it?
