Default Lookie what found!!! (1:18 diecast)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I did this (kind of) with my last Monte Carlo, I purchased a likeness to it in a diecast replica. Ever since I saw that the 2007 Dodge Super bees all came with limited numbered diecasts, i've always searched for diecasts of the car I owned. I found this one (and purchased one, albeit for half price) of the Dale Jr. Supercharged SS! I'm STILL trying to find a diecast ROUSH Mustang, some can be hard to find. But for some of you other Dale Jr owners out there, how could you NOT want a mini Monte??

I stated that I do (kind of) have a replica of my previous Monte, what I have is a 2003 red SS Monte Carlo diecast. It's red with the silver trim and chrome wheels. My Monte was a red LS with custom chrome wheels and NO silver trim, but I considered it close. I would entertain the idea of selling my current diecast, as I have one more on the way!

Has anyone else ever done this? I know on a few other forums I have been on, there is usually a whole section entitled "diecasts or toys" in reference to those "toy" collectors. You wouldn't believe the people that collect them AND modify them to represent their own vehicles in absolutely stunning, immaculate detail!! Which is why I just HAD to have this particular Dale Jr. diecast. I was ALMOST entertaining the option of taking my OLD SS Monte diecast and having someone "custom" paint it to resemble the Dale Jr. mockup, so i'm SO thrilled that I don't have to do that... as you can see, it has already been done!!

Default mc diecast.......

....I have actually seen that one before but a long time ago.
That's a great find however.
I can't remember where ( web site ) but I've seen MC promotional
models, diecast and plastic. I want to say that all generations were
represented ? But I do remember the 6th gens had the silver ground affects as well ?

I do actually want to pick up the very FIRST Monte Carlo I ever experienced: My Godfather had a 1987 SS Monte Carlo when I was a child. He actually had two... I believe an 85 in white or silver and the 87 was black. It's the memory of those cars combined with the spirit of my Godfather that makes me so interesed in and LOVE my Monte Carlo.

Yep - I have the red and silver die cast (actually I have 2) I have one that I keep in a case with my other die cast car collection. And the other one I take to car shows (which is kinda beat up now). I even got my Monte Carlo side badges changed out to silver to match the die cast! I don't have chrome rims because they weren't available for the 03. So my car is almost identical to the diecast.

This is the very one I have had my eyes on! I would love to find a black one like mine but this one will do as well.
