Happy to see your maiden voyage is completed and sucessful. Always like the new brakes, looking extra clean. The rotor centers are rust proofed, nice...

Even better they are powder coated. That should hold up better than spray paint. Though I am impressed how well my calipers are still looking two years after hi-temp spray paint.

Looks good Jason! Too bad about the coolant elbow, but like you said you know what the problem is so no big mystery. You'll have it fixed up in no time.

Good news, the coolant elbows have been replaced this afternoon. I hauled butt to the dealership and went with GM elbows instead of Dorman (Dorman's were $5 for the pair, dealer, $27 for the pair ). But a quick swap, fill up the ol' anti-freeze and bleed the air. Drove it to dinner and back, zero issues no sign of coolant leaks (other then the crap I have to hose off).

I am going to have to hit up ClubGP and see if I can find that person!!! I think I'd like to get some of those on hand!!

And thanks everyone for the praise on the look of the brakes on the Monte. In all honesty, I have a LOT more time vested in these brakes then I originally planned on. But I am ecstatic with the final outcome, it's some stuff my Monte really needed and it's nice to know so many of MCF agree and approve this mod
