97 Motor mount
I have a 2005 3400 out of an Impala that I want to drop in to replace the 3100 that died. Will the motor mount for the 2005 bolt in in place of the 3100 mount? I see that the parts are different.
Thanks in advance.

Worst case, you will might have to trade some pieces from the 3100 to the 3400 (but it will fit in).
Here are two different tech guides on the 3100-to-3400 swap:

Another question
Thanks Jason. What is the right way to put the injectors and rail back together? Do I put the injectors back in the manifold and push the rails down on top of the injectors or put the injectors in the rail than seat everything?

I have always put injectors in the rail, then seat the loaded rail to the intake. Use new injector o-rings whenever you expose the old o ring. A dab of engine oil or even dish soap is a good lubricant for seating the injectors.
When seating them to the intake l, you may have to wiggle or push a little for them to seat.
