RE: 06-07 Headlamps
Did anyone have this warranty claim denied by the dealer? I am seeing it on my drivers-side healight with 7800 miles on the car.
Issue with it reoccuring? When is GM going to issue a TSB?
Something tells me the old man service adivsor at my dealership is going to say that he does not see anything. Union shopsoffer such high quality service.

One thing I'm getting very aggravated with is the seatbelt receptacle scratching the center console... it's like this half-moon of sanded down console.... looks ugly as hell on my black plastic.. and it's not like there's anything that can be done to that particular area.

I think this whole arguement about the LTZ verses SS can be compared to the Chrysler lineup in the 1950's and 1960's.The New Yorker was the top of the line so to speak with luxurious features as standard equipment. For performance and sportiness, the 300 series was offered. The base price on a New Yorker was less than the 300 letter series however, similar to the LTZ having a lower base price than the SS.
With the 300 you were paying for the higher horsepower engine(dual quads)and heavy suspension.but on the New Yorker you were paying for standard power accessories and more trim.
They also had the Newport,Windsor and Saratoga series that did change slightly over the years, but they would compare to the spaces occupied by the LS,LT,and 3LT for our cars.

Gale,
A lot of the LTZ and LT3 owners were wishing the LTZ was top of the line for 2006. Whether or not it's true............ we can't say? We were going by standard equipment versus what the SS got.

I did. The srvc manager said he wouldn't replace mine. He didn't see any real problem? A call toChevy got them to call the srvc manager and ask "Why" he refused to replace them for me?
Mike at Chevy called me back a day or two later. Said his advice for me was, "Find another dealer to deal with."

Are you going to find another dealer to try and get these replaced? I sent an email to the Service Dept. where I bought the car from. They have been a PITA to deal with in the past and I don't feel like talking to them face to face if they have not heard of this issue before, because I don't think they will do a thing.
