Found below on Craigslist & thought it was a decent Monte with a super price ? Fly down to Florida & get it ? Maybe ? What do you think ?
If I had the time, I'd go & check it `out, (It's only about an hour away...I have a super busy day or I'd try to go)
Looks decent in the below pic's...(Can't get much that runs for under $3K > 4-Sure

I'm sure in the case of the red one, the "stage II" was an oversight. Space, I think that red Monte could be all you
As for the 5th gen, I've heard allegedly cars that were written off as "salvage" and later get re-titled are sometimes retitled as an XXXX Make/Model (where XXXX is would represent the year it was retitled).
So, in the case of the 5th gen, you have one of two issues:
- Either a mistake
or
- It was a salvage/repaired car

Thanks Mod `Jason for your great input on both Monte Carlo's.
Yes, I think the 04 S.S. could just be a mistake by the owner.
I wish I really had the time to go look at it, but other commitments are prevented me from checking it `out...I think the price is really decent (even for the miles)...
I've been working double shifts & when get `off I go & visit one of my senior citizen friends that's in the hospital...Even `if I could get that Monte, I wouldn't have the time to work on it or enjoy @ present...
I'm still on standby for my island hopping trip (assignment)...My plate is full at present & my only escape seems to be the MCF
I am living vicariously by everyone's happy posts on our forum
Thanks for your words/help to `all > We appreciate 4-Sure
