Hello,

I am new to this forum and do not know a great deal about cars.

I am in law enforcement and, believe it or not, I have a case where a key point of contention is whether or not a 2006 Monte Carlo SS would have a rear pass through in the center armrest. I say that it was standard on all the SS that year. The other side says it was an option. The car, of course, is gone.

Does anyone know where I can look, or happen to know?

Google has given me nothing definitive.

 

no mention of it in my Chevrolet sales brochure, but I do have one in my 2006 LT...

 

The 2006 Monte Carlo does not have a standard rear seat console "pass through", but instead the rear seats fold down individually by pulling the lever at the far top edge of each seat, gaining access to the trunk. Something could certainly be tossed in the trunk from the passenger compartment if that is the question. Access to the interior cannot be gained from the trunk...Hope this helps.
