Default Monte accelerates, "Stumbles", or " Boggs down" ???

Hey guys, wife's Monte having an issue, she was telling me that when she accelerates some times (happens about 3 times a week) the engine seems to Bog down, or miss, stumbles??? Just for a second or two, then runs fine.. It mainly does it from a dead stop, (at least when I drove it and it happened only one time, kinda hard to describe, but close as I can get) just a weird issue, intermittent .. Thanks to all of you for your past and present assistance, you all are the BEST !..

I'm gonna assume this goes with the other thread and wheel hub assembly is possibly trying to prevent wheel slip that isn't occurring by cutting power to the wheel for a few seconds.

Does she have the trac off button?

Have her drive with the trac off everytime she starts the car, just to see if it happens. If not it's probably the traction control system

EXCELLENT IDEA ! Never thought of that.. That's almost what it feels like... Engine just chugs for a sec or two, then Alls cool.. ( again, very intermitant)

I will have her do that an see if it happens again.. Thanks for the advise.. Michael...
