Repair Guide: 6th Gen Cabin Air Filter Replacement
I changed mine last week. I also changed the filter in my Dad's 08 Buick Lucerne. It was a pain in the butt! The frame is held in by a clip that you have to remove before you can take the old filter out. I thought it would be easy cause the compartment has it's own door you have to remove - not like taking apart part of the cowl of the Monte.
Saw this was up again so Id give a little story. The first time i changed mine, I just couldnt find it. I looked and looked then looked some more. Where was it?? It didnt have one? Yep, somone didnt put one back in. The space under the filter (well, where the filter was supposed to go) was just nasty and one of the tightest places to clean. But anyway, thats all fixed these days, and I now have a filter in there. Cant figure why sombody would just not put the filter back in??
Where is the AC Drain Pipe for a 2004 Monte Carlo LS?? I have water leaking into my passenger floor boards, on this sites advice I replaced the cabin filter but it did not fix the problem when my AC is on.. The AC blasts cool air so I beleive it is working fine I just can't seem to locate the damn drainage plug.. thanks guys in advance...
i think that was a joke, im doing a video on this, i will post it when done, just get a standard cabin air filter, it only needs to filter the air, not give you more horsepower.
in other words, i dont know if the monte will last long enough to make the k&n worth it lol
that was a lot of typing and may not even make sense because im tired but i tried lol
