changed cabin air filter
I changed my Cabin Air filter this past weekend. Easy.....
I got mine from NAPA. Their filter has a little more foam padding
around the edge which made for a tighter reinstallation. I also took
the opportunity to clean the area of dust and road grime. The flter
itself, was pretty dirty. The 1st owner probably never knew they had
one. The price was $15.04.
Now maybe my Fan Motor will gain 5% more HP.....? LOL !

Did mine and boy, was it nasty and gross! Full of dirt and pet hair. I guess that's what I get for keeping my cats in the garage. Got a FRAM replacement (with Baking Soda) from Wally world for like $15 dollars. Going to check my wife's Maxima soon as well.

Cabin filters
Hey guys and possibly some girls, take from a guy who does much more than cabin filters on a car for a career it's easy to change a cabin filter in 2000-2005 monte's it's the same procedure on most of the GM larger sedans and coupes. A great filter brand is called Professionals Choice and comes with a great instruction sheet for the DIY. Much cheaper than the factory filter also. Pn: cf1012
