if you really want to check and be sure it's because of the PCM, you could swap the original back in and test it. since you have programmed the ZZP pcm, you wont have any issue swapping one out for the other now.

Ya I could do it but I'm going to wait a couple of days. It is kinda a pain in the butt to get the lid to the SLP CAI off. The cone is attached to the lid and the lid is held down by those stupid plastic clips. I already broke 2 on the swap. I have 2 weeks until I have to send back my core so I will wait this one out. I can also talk to Tim at ZZP, he knows I had a problem and they might extend the time limit.

Glad to hear you got it to work. Your air bags should work when you restartyour car. The same with the ABS system, if that gives you any fits.

The light is still on after 4 restarts. Hopefully in time (a short time!) the light will go off.

one of the good guys over at grandprixforums had this to say about your issue:

They loaded the file for a non-Chevy. The Chevy BCM and airbag module only want Chevy bin files on the PCM.

I would just take it out and send it back if they can't fix it. I don't know if ZZP is tied into 3800performance.com but that is where I got my PCM from and have not had troubles. I will let you know what happens when I get the ZZP downpipe put on next week but so far so good. Plus they said they will even delete the code you want deleted you just have to let them know by e-mail before you buy the PCM from them. Only grip which is not a huge one is the PCM from 3800performace was super dirty but eh it works good! I might have to send my PCM back to get the code deleted (I kept my old PCM just in case of sale or issues) but we will see.

Just wondering? When you disconnect ur negative battery terminal, how long are you leaving it off? Cause I might try leaving it off over night. Some people will agree with this some not they say it only takes 20-30 min but I have done both to reset and leaving it longer can't hurt to try it over night.

That's a good idea - I'll try to leave my battery unhooked overnight. I emailed ZZP and I could send my original PCM to them and have them reprogram mine. Then I'll just send back the original one they sent me so I can get my core charge refunded. I'll have to pay for 2 delivery charges but I'd rather do that and have my car right.

why does everybody always thinking zzp have the best pcm? i guess you all need to do a research on clubgp and see how many people having issues with their pcm. i was one of the person. i spent over $200ish on their pcm when had my xp cam install. they screw up my 3.29 gear shifting. now i have a pcm sitting on the shelf that i can't even use and probably end up selling as a core. willoverkilled and intense probably where i would buy if i was to start all over again.
