Default Zzp 1.0 pcm

I ordered one of these and I will be receiving mine tomorrow. I have been searching the threads and have not heard good things about the security issue with this canned PCM from ZZP and Montes. I have printed out the instructions on how to do a security relearn. Now I am scared because I can't afford to have this car not run right. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I will do the install tomorrow and I guess if I have any problems you will be hearing from me - probably in tears. All I want to do is to have the 0402 code gone - but I don't know anyone in my area with an HP tuner.

OK - I have a scanner so I can test it - I'm not going to send back my PCM until I know I am not going to have any problem with the new one they send me.

P0240: Catalyst System Efficiency. The stock PCM dosn't like the high flow cat - it won't do any damage and I have a scanner to erase the code temporarily, but if I am to pass emissions, the code has to be permanently gone - tuned out.

are you talking about a security relearn or the Case relearn procedure for the CPS?

These are the instructions you have for the security relearn, right?

1.) Attempt to Start (Key to Run) NOTE : Car will not start

2.) Release key to 'ON' position

3.) Wait ~11 minutes (or until Security Light INdicator) turns off in message center.

4.) Turn Key off and wait 30 seconds.

5.) Repeat 1 - 4 until car starts (usually 3 cycles)
