Okay, so you know your car's slow when you can't even beat a ****ing stock '07-'08 lancer BASE MODEL with an f'd up exhaust on a 1/2 tank. Theres now a list growing of parts that i'm going to acquire over winter and put them on when summer hits, go hunting, and redeem myself and one of my bank accounts is now my car fund.

Here's what i'm thinking of:

3400 "Competition" UIM w/ported 65mm or 62mm TB opening
3400 "Competition" LIM
Coolant Bypass kit
GMPD Dual cat-back exhaust
MMS Stainless DP w/magnaflow cat
Ported exhaust manifolds (pending)
36lb/hr Injector upgrade kit
Spark Plugs and wires
PCM Tune
180° T-stat

Im guesstimating at about 1,350 for all

No I dont want to save up for boost lol


BTW will this fit the 3.4L engine area if its for 99-05 grand am and "similar"?

He/She wasnt stock then. My current neighbor has hte same car and mine stomps all over it. Hes even got the 5 speed. Somthing was going on that he/she didnt tell you. At the times we were racing all I had done was the ported exhaust manifolds and everything else you all know about, I do have some interestin new mods that I havnt mentioned yet though, but I havent raced him wiht those.

 

what he said. at 1300 it would seem like a waste to work on the 3400. screw all that and build an l67 then go out hunting.
