Default wiring help

Its been a while since I've really been active on here, largely because my Monte had caught fire and was totaled. Since then I have purchased another Monte...an '02 White SS limited edition. There were a few minor problems which have mostly been dealt with and now there's only one left to address before I can get it inspected...p0412. I tracked down the problem and its a broken wire at the connector. Anybody have any ideas how ti fix he remove the terminal from the connector to make the repair? (Pics to come in the next post)

go to the junk yard and get a new connector and solder the new one in and shrink wrap the wires. it may be possible to remove the pin inside that connector but its not likely. just replace the connector

Auto zone sells replacement connectors. If its broke anyway just cut it off, take it in and match it up.

It took about 45 minutes to figure out what the switch was called so I could replace it after braking off the male vacuum ports. It controls thefresh air flow to the exhaust to get a more complete burn. The solenoid sits on the metal bracket that sticks above the backside of the motor.

I found it on the auto zone app, they call it a vacuum canister vent solenoid connector.
