Massive updates guys. Long story short I ended up flatbed the car home from the shop. I was tired of the way things were being done etc but that ordeal is for another day and another conversation. Anyway..... When I got her home she was filthy, and wasn't loved for the 7 months they had her. I also had a issue with the maf working that I got fixed now. Had startup with decent idle today but maf is still bouncing so I'll be installing a maf screen tomorrow. I spent some time doing a front side wire tuck and also polishing some piping etc since it looked like crap and don't have time to powdercoat. Hoping after the maf screen is installed tomorrow that allows me and the new tuner Kevin at Cartuning to further tune and possibly go for a drive for the first time in 7 months with this car. Anyway, picture time

Well everyone I finally have some good news!! I got most of the bugs fixed and was able to tune enough to drive. I had 30 test miles on the build before packing and leaving for the w-body/3800/Holden meet in Michigan (6hr drive) the car made it there, showed very well for nothing being coated, and made it home. Dyno tune is scheduled for 7-13 and 7-14 at Cartuning performance in Toronto Canada!

Car took best in show Monte Carlo and best in show Chevrolet!!!!!!

 

Off topic but..... The cts-v went to the meet as well and got to have some fun in the burnout box.... Enjoy!
