Lol the plan is to make alot of cars hold onto their hats

The yellow pipes are flexible stryofoam to get bends exact etc before cutting and welding pipe.

Anyway.... Got a update today as they came in on a Saturday and also worked until 8:30pm on it. Guess me getting mouthy is finally sinking in. I hope so anyway. The current plan is having the rest of the piping done Monday and having everything to the powdercoater by Tuesday.

The turbo looks massive sitting there haha I love it!

Dump tubes we're finished today. They had to order a transition piece for the cold side charge pipe and it showed up today so most of that is not done too.

They tried to get 4" downpipe in and claim it's impossible so they have to use 3.5" really upsetting. Was really looking forward to a 4" open dump especially after they assured me it would fit originally

As promised, Friday updates!!

3.5" downpipe has been fabricated and snuck around the engine and out the exhaust tunnel. She is a big one that's for sure! Pics attached

The charge pipe coming off the ic running to the Holden manifold will start being fabricated late tomorrow or Monday. They are waiting on a transition piece for it and it should arrive tomorrow. That pipe will be routed from ic around and up through the fender and through where the battery used to be with 3" pipe. Right where the battery used to be it will flare to 4" to mount the ls7 card style maf and mount to the 92mm throttle body that is gonna sit where the fuse box used to be. After the throttle body is will neck back to 3" to route around the alternator and into the Holden manifold. Pics of that charge pipe hopefully by Tuesday at the latest!

I been following along with this for sometime now and as we are getting near the time you get it back on the road.
What is all this going to cost?
Now the last time I did something wild like this the wife needed to gifted as well.
So this maybe a real expensive project.

I got raked over the coals on the price. They under quoted me severely and didn't say anything until they had the car apart so I couldn't back out. If they would of originally told me what the cost was gonna be I would of never done it I'll just say that.

I know you have to "pay to play", but that is crap to grossly under quote an estimate for a job and then while the car is apart, come up and say "we need a gross amount of more money". I have had that happen to me and it feels like robbery or black mail (and if you tell them to stick it, then you have to worried how well are they putting your car back together).

I had a guy doing some paint work for me do that to me. I ate it, as it was only an extra $100 (but left a bad taste in my mouth). That issue was he under quoted a job I clearly explained. Then when he shot the paint, he had a paint matching issue! He did not do a spray out card to test (I was their when his paint rep crucified him for that). When he fixed the paint match, he left a part of the car with the wrong paint because it was not seen when the trunk was closed. When I told him that needed fixed, he wanted to hit me for more money. I told him I was not paying him to put purple on a blue car and he won't see a dime until that matching issue was fixed. He fixed it, he knew he was wrong. But I won't go back to him anymore. Very sad.

It really does suck. that's exactly why I just been keeping quiet for the most part and sucking it up until I have the car back.

Anyway, more progress has been done. They told me the goal is first startup Thursday!! This is how she is currently sitting
