Default Possible fuel leak.... 3.4 engine...

Hello guys, have a question about a fuel leak on my daughters car.....

First off, it cranks a little bit longer than normal to start in the morning.
2nd, a strong smell of fuel outside the car,
3rd, when driving the car, you can not smell the fuel inside of the car
4th after parking the car, you can smell gas agin...

The things I have done, .....replaced the gas cap, checked under the car for fuel, nothing under the car. Replaced the fuel vapor canister by the gas tank last summer, didn't have any issues till last week. Confusing ?

I was thinking possible the fuel filter? (But thought I'd see gas dripping)
Fuel regulator (how do you check them if they are leaking internally?)
Fuel injector (hard to see if its leaking)
Fuel rail (no visible leaks)

Any help would be GREAT , and needed ASAP to avoid a Blaze.... Thanks ain't...mjclemm...

Doing a visual inspect on the lines and filter are the best thoughts I have. A friend of mine had a fuel line leak that we never saw it drip, but the line was ALWAYS wet and you could smell it.

Best of luck finding the source.
