Default Performance/Economy

I'm sorry if there is already a post about this, I just didn't see it. I am wondering what is the best possible route to go for performance, all the extra little addons and what not/ fuel economy. Or at least to get some better fuel economy. Been doing some research over the last couple of days and simply came up with a few things, but I was wondering if any one on here has done this before, and what problems they faced, and what worked out better, along with tips and what not. The vehicle is a 95 Monte Carlo Z34 3.4L. Any information you have I am sure is helpful. Thank you.

Cold air intake and catback exhaust is the first place I started. Not much available performance wise for the LQ1.

Our cars dont use "Chips". Those cheapy modules = fail as well. If you want the car tuned have someone with a DHP tuner or HP tuners do it the right way. I just had my PCM tuned by a member here (Z34pheonix) and Im real happy with it.

Thought you might say something like that. And yeah I have read a few of his posts as well. Although I would like to be able to figure something out for this car.
